One of the most representative tombs from the Bronze Age, Ganghwa Jiseokmyo is made with a very large stone 710cm long, 260cm high and 550ccm wide and shaped like a northern-style dolmen. A relic of great historical value for studying ancient history, it was designated as a World Cultural Heritage in 2000 at the 24th Session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee, along with the dolmens in Gochang and Hwasun.
