Jeondeungsa was given its name in the early years of Korean Buddhism during the reign of King Chungryeol of Goryeo dynasty (1282). It is home to beautiful Buddhist architecture such as Daeungbojeon (National Treasure of Korea No. 178) and Yaksajeon (No. 179). Visitors can also enjoy its temple stay program to form harmony with nature and experience the Buddhist culture away from daily stress.
